- Cut plant-based fish caked in half and shape each piece into a ball.
- To a skillet over medium heat, add oil and fish cakes. Sauté 3-4 minutes on each side and remove from heat.
- Stir gochugaru and sesame seeds into sushi rice.
- Take ¼ cup of rice at a time and form into a nest. Place fish cake inside nest and sprinkle green onion over top. Wet hands and form the rice into a ball around fish cake. Place a strip of nori around half of rice ball. Repeat with remaining fish cakes.
- Serve with soy sauce.
